I was born and raised in Southwestern MB. I am a 3rd generation beekeeper, and the 5th generation to live on the family farm, which was settled by my ancestors in 1881. My Grandfather began Beekeeping about 100 years ago, and his legacy has installed in me a great respect and admiration for family farms, history, and the heritage in Manitoba. I attended high school in Wisconsin, and then stayed on to attend Maranatha University where I received my Bachelor of Science in Business. While at university, I stayed busy competing in NCAA D3 wrestling. I have stayed in touch with the wrestling community by attaining my coaching certificate from the Manitoba amateur wrestling association, and working with WAMMA Brandon to bring wrestling to the Brandon area. After graduating university, I moved home to help with the family farm. I fell in love with bees while working with my family endeavouring to bring an old beekeeping farm into the 21st century. During the winters I have kept busy working at multiple restaurants bartending and serving. It is here I fell in love with the service industry. Making people happy is a great experience that brings a satisfaction to me in a different way than that from the sweat equity of working on the farm. I am a fitness enthusiast and ran the full Manitoba marathon several years. I also competed in fitness bodybuilding a few times. I am a firm believer in hard work, whether on the farm, in serving, on the wrestling mat, or at the gym. Hard work, persistence, and dedication make up the foundation of my personal ethos. I am very excited to begin this new real estate endeavour and know that my passion and hard work, will work for you!
